Our beloved brother Herbert Spruill – “Herbie” – went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday September 26, 2016. Herbie was the leader of the prayer team and an active member of the Burlington Leadership Council. He was the only active member of 3 Men of Steel chapters (Burlington, Hopedale, Asheboro). A service was held at Christian Bible Fellowship in Burlington on Saturday October 1, 2016 to remember and honor the life of Herbie and to celebrate the joy he now has being home with his heavenly father. During the weekly meeting on October 3, the men had the opportunity to share memories and stories about brother Herb. We love him and miss him dearly but rejoice in his salvation through the blood of Jesus!
